Problem
A request fails because of a tiny temporary network interruption.
Trying only once means a transient failure becomes a permanent application failure.
Solution — Retry
Try the operation again when the failure is likely temporary.
Attempt 1 → fail Attempt 2 → fail Attempt 3 → success
Core idea: retries turn some transient failures into successful operations.
